The Lagos State Government yesterday said that it has concluded arrangement to host its maiden Lagos Street Party at the popular Ahmadu Bello Way, Victoria Island.
The Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Lagos State, Mr Steve Ayorinde briefing on the street party, said that the State Government would be organising The Lagos Street Party between December 3 and 4 in conjunction with WhiteStar Entertainment, saying that the party would be a festival experience designed to promote culture, tourism, art and commerce
Ayorinde said that the event would feature live music, diverse cuisine and creative indigenous games in a beautiful environment for an audience of approximately 500,000 people.
He said that the first day would feature colourful parades, displays, acrobatic acts and live performances by Nigerian musicians including Olamide, Phyno and the Police Band. He further said that leading chefs and restaurants would be on ground to provide and showcase different delicacies.
